I want to enlighten about ectopic pregnancy. I had a ectopic pregnancy in spring 2019 without knowing what it was. I felt betrayed by my body and by the society. The sexual education in Swedish schools isn't enough. Women should know what can happen to their bodys and not be surprised or experience the consequences by it with an ambulance and a trauma or worse.
The pictures are a series of the periods before, meantime and after I had a the ectopic pregnancy. The period before I was in Warszawa in Poland and the later periods I was home in Sweden in Gothenburg. While I was working on this project Poland started there campaigns with sharper abortions laws. The project is a direct critic to Polans abortion laws and to the insufficient information and education around women bodys in our society today.
